Wedding Lights

Fairly Recently we decided to create a Wedding lights section on our site, while many of the products listed on the site are perfect for weddings we are trying to give our customers an easier shopping experience.

Apart from the normal christmas lights strings we carry we have added a selection of other really cool products that would spruce up any even but we hand picked these products with brides in mind.

  • Candles -  We offer quality Luminara candles and Flicker Flame bulbs. These products give you the look of flames without any risk of fire. They are great for windows, tables, etc.
  • Curtain & Net Lights - Curtain and Net lights offer a quick way to cover and area without having to mess with multiple light strings. Great for making backdrops or using as cover on greenery. Please note, when you're hanging curtains they need time to relax to straighten up completely.
  • Floralytes - These small battery lights are great for centerpieces, tables, vases, even bouquets! We carry Floralyte II (these feature and on/off switch) and Submersible Floralytes for going in vases, fountains, pools, bowls, etc. Please note, don't use the submersible lights in anything that will hold liquid for consumption.
  • Globe Lights - G30, G40, & G50 bulbs and light strings. Great for hanging in tents, above tables, or stringing around the ceremony. Globe lights are super popular for weddings and look great regardless of the theme.
  • White Wire Mini Lights - We carry a lot of mini lights, and we put our white wire mini lights  with clear bulbs into this category so it's easier to navigate. Now we still carry all the colored mini lights on white wire you just have to get to them via the Mini Lights page.
While this website is still in it's infancy we have all the knowledge to help light up your wedding. Feel free to contact us and we'll help find just the right lights for your application and get the best price possible! Thanks for checking out the blog.

Decorating with Lights for Easter

Decorating for Easter is fun, but why not take it up one more notch and add some lights into your decor. There are several options, as far as matching the Easter holiday theme. No matter if you like to go more trendy with bright colors or stay traditional with pastels. There is something for every taste.

Opaque C7 and C9 lights are one option. These are similar to traditional Christmas lights but are painted, so when they are lit they have a look of pastel colors and a soft glow. You could try colors like, yellow, pink, purple, orange, and white. Perfect to put outside, lining the yard to look like hidden Easter eggs or in the bushes. You could also use them in your centerpieces on your tables. These are going to be better with a more traditional Easter color scheme.

Mini lights on white wire are another great choice. These are great for small trees, flower arrangements and centerpieces. You could get them in colors such as pink, yellow, teal and purple on white wire. They will be perfect for your festive Easter decor.Since these lights are little brighter colors they might look better with a more trendy Easter theme.

Either way you go, both options with look great! Check out our selection of mini lights and opaque bulbs.

Flicker Flame Lights

Sometimes you want to have the appearance of a gentle flickering flame but you really don't want to run the risk of catching something on fire. Your solution could be flicker flame bulbs. The unique flame-like bulbs are perfect for giving the illusion without any risk.

Flicker flame lights are screw in bulbs with a C7 (candelabra) base. They have 2 metal filaments that light up yellow and red, which looks like a real flickering flame from a candle. These are most commonly seen on faux wax candle sticks, but that is not the only option. We offer them in packs of 3 flicker flame bulbs and light strings of 7 bulbs with about 24" bulbs spacing.

Luminara Flameless Candles

Luminara are candles for any and every where.  These amazing flameless candles can add a touch of real candle elegance without any worry of fires or dripping wax getting on carpet or furniture. Unlike other flameless alternatives these candles really mimic the look of a flickering flame just like on a real burning candle. Luminara candles are kid safe and pet friendly. No worries of anyone getting burned because they get to close. These flameless candles can be used just about everywhere, boats, patios, photo shoots, offices, churches, kid’s rooms, classrooms, storefronts, restaurants and that is just to mention a few. You get the all the benefits of a real candle with none of the worries.

Luminara candles are made with real wax and have a melted top front for a realistic feel. All you need is 2 “D” batteries and you should get approximately 240 hours. They have an on/off/24 hour timer switch. The timer on these flameless candles will stay lit 5 hours and go off for 19 hours. Using these types of alternatives to real candles gives you a much longer lifespan and they are so much more practical.
