5 Unique Uses for Globe Lights

So many people think that mini Christmas lights are the go-to for decorating or icicle lights get all the glory when decorating for holidays and special occasions, but globe lights deserve their recognition. Patio lights are  very versatile and can be easily used for many decorating needs, such as in weddings, backyard parties, proms and many more.  In fact,  I will give you five unconventional ideas for using globe lights for all year decorating. Let your creativity run wild with these patio light ideas.

  • Have a Themed Outdoor Dinner Party

Spring and summer is the time to head outside and start entertaining guests. Anyone can have a regular cookout, this is your chance to be bold, be different. Give your outdoor dinner party a fun theme! Try making it like an Italian Sidewalk Cafe,or you could also go for a beach front restaurant feel. You can even make a matching menu. After you have chosen your theme, pick your globe lights to match. So simple and creative.
  • Transform that Gazebo
A gazebo is a nice thing to have in any yard, but as the sun sets you are going to need a little fun lighting to brighten up the space. Try hanging a few patio lights around the edge of your gazebo for a elegant but still simple effect.
  • Light Your Walkway
Imagine being a visitor to your home and not being able to see the walkway. Here's a simple and fun solution to that problem. Put some stake every few feet along each side of the path, string up some globe lights along each side. A simple way to illuminate the walk into your home or the path to your garden.
  • Spotlight Your Garden Area
If you have a garden, you have worked hard and want to spotlight your talents. No matter is it is a veggie garden or beautiful flowers blooming, you should make sure to light it up and admire it in the evenings. Use stakes around your garden area, hang some outdoor globe lights from each stake. Let the bulbs light up your work.
  • Change Colors with Your Mood
There is no reason to always stick with clear or white patio lights. Why not change it up some? Try switching the bulb colors according to the holiday or even just because you feel like you want something a little more festive. You decide, never limit your creativity.
