Different White LED Lights

Choosing to switch to LED Christmas lights is the first big step. Now, how to choose the right shade of white for your project. With all different shades of white in the LED market it can be confusing and a bit overwhelming. There are two main shades of white LED lights.

Warm White LED Lights - These LED light strings are the closest in color to the traditional mini light bulb. Many people are fond of this because they get the same look of their old lights, but with a money saving  and less risky type of light string.

Pure White LED Lights - These bulbs have the least amount of color. They are almost paper white. These are perfect to use on your tree or around the house for a clean and fresh LED glow. You will have to keep in mind that manufacturers can vary with the shades of pure white, they can even have a faint blue tint.

When LED lights first appeared on the Christmas light scene there was one shade of white. It was the "white" that has the strongest blue tint. Retailers were getting complaint after complaint about the color. Customers were wanting something much closer to their traditional mini lights that had been used to using. After the complaints came in, they decided to take those off the market and try something closer to a traditional white bulb.

Something to keep in mind is that when buying things online, different colors can look slightly different in real life. There is never a guarantee that it is an exact match for what you've had in the past. But we will do our very best to get it as close as we can to what you are looking for.
