Here's some suggestions for using our Wine Bottle lights and decorating wine bottles:

- If you put lights near the base by drilling a hole buy a high quality glass drill bit. Using a proper bit will help you make sure you aren't running the risk of breaking a bottle.
- Ask your friends, family, or even local restaurants for old bottles. You can clean them and you'll save money (and your kidneys if you're trying to empty bottles yourself)
- Leave the labels on, many wine labels are neat and add a cool effect to the lights!
- Decorate the top of the bottle, especially if you're using the mouth of the bottle to put lights in through the top. Fake grapes, ribbon, etc add a cool accent to the top of the bottle.
- Paint! If you're handy with a brush paint a design on the bottle.
